Steve slays the mighty (mighty reproductive, that is) lionfish! Steve's going after one in the first picture - he managed to finally catch it in our goodie bag and then fillet it on top of a piece of exposed reef for the birds. Those guys can move remarkably fast, to be as ornate and un-hydrodynamic as they are!

The last picture is of a teensy tiny brittle star - you can see legs beside the urchin if you look closely enough

LOL! Yep, it's a pair of lobstering gloves. They're really annoying to wear, so they spend all their time in the bottom of the net
