Get ready...

... cause I've got a WHOLE LOT of catching up to do! Somehow, the entire month of October passed me right by. Lots and lots of stuff was going on, but that means that I wasn't in front of the computer long enough to catch up. Today, I've got the afternoon free, I'm still getting over a cold, so that keeps me indoors, and I'm gonna try to post as much as I can before we lose power. Again.

Anyways... Here we go. In chronological order, so this is going all the way back to the end of September.

Steve and I have been wanting to explore a tiny little get-away here called Gilligan's Island, and we finally pulled away and did it one Saturday. It was a fun day, but I have to say it was a little disappointing. Everyone talked about how beautiful the water was, but the day we were there was pretty murky. Add in the fact that the island is nothign but mangroves...and that made snorkeling around it almost creepy. All you can see underwtaer is a big tangle of roots, and big eyes staring out at you. But, it was a pretty day out, and we had a great time nontheless.

Here's pictures of both of us on the ferry on the way over. You can see the island behind my head. And then, the dock at the island.
