Saturday was kind of a bust in the Slaughter House; I woke up with a crick in my neck that was bad enough I pretty much spent the day laying on ice packs and staring at the ceiling. Steve was my night in shining armour, bringing me fresh ice, smoothies, and queso dip as the necessity arose. He's one in a million, that's for sure.
Sunday, I was still a little stiff, but determined not to waste another day of the weekend. Since it was going to be cloudy pretty much all day, we decided it would be a good time to go exploring and do some walking. We started off by going to Guajataca Beach. This is the same one you and I went to, Mom! Steve had never been, so it was nice to show it to him.
