Playing in the rocks at Isabela

We took a break from unpacking today and headed out to Isabela to enjoy a little beach time. The rocks here are really amazing! They are so rough and jagged - and so great when the waves break over them. Everything is so colorful - from the bright green seaweed and grasses, to deep reds and purples. In a couple of the pictures, I'm trying to work up my nerve to get close enough to the edge to look down a good little blow hole down there. For the record, I never did get brave enough to get all the way up and into it - the pools leading up to it were lined with HUNDREDS of urchins, and I just knew that a big wave was going to knock me down and I would spend the rest of the day laying on the floor while Steve picked the spines out of my stomach.
