Moving up in time to June 28...

My good friend Johanna came to stay with us for a while. She took me to Jobos Beach, a place I've been a MILLION times, and showed me that I had never seen one of the coolest features of the beach, the REAL Pozo de Jacinto. Months ago, you may remember, I wrote up the story of the kid, Jacinto, who lost his cow in a blowhole... the whole time I had the wrong location for the blowhole. This is literally about 100 paces from where I hang out on the beach, but I'd never walked around to it, as it looks a lot like you're walking through someone's back yard (heck, you probably are...) Anyways... this is the true spot, and it's fabulous! Since it's summer now, the waves are really calm, so the water only makes it about halfway up the wall. But I can just imagine what it must look like when the waves are really zorchin!
