Camping in Zion NP

 We took the Spud on his first camping trip this weekend; Zion National Park. It was GREAT! Weather was a little colder than we anticipated - it got down into the 40s, but we had nice warm sleeping bags, a cozy tent, and a Dillinger dog to complete the warm dog pile. We all stayed toasty.

Baby Shower Pictures

 I know it's been more than a month, but I'm just now getting things set up on my computer to start posting again, so I thought I'd throw these up on the blog. Leslie set up a little photo booth at the shower, and since mustaches was the theme of the shower, we all got to pose with facial hair. Pretty fitting, since Steve was sporting the 70's porn star 'stache at the same time :-)

We finally wore him out

At the dog park this morning. Steve ran 2 miles with him at full throttle, then we spent an hour at the dog park watching him chase everything in sight. He was finally mellow enough to do a little cuddling by the time we got home. At some point in time, all the activity is going to HAVE to bounce the Spud into the world...

Birthdays

Steve's birthday was a couple of days ago, and his present was this fine hat to go with the mustache he's been sportin lately. I think I've got two fine lookin gunslingers, if I do say so myself.

Sunday was cold and crazy blustery after a spectacularly beautiful, 85 degree Saturday. A very good day to stay in, romp, and spend the day in jammies.

Baby shower

This Saturday was my baby shower and my friend Lourdes wanted to come over beforehand and fix my hair and makeup for the party. That was an offer I couldn't refuse, and here's the fruits of her labors!
